It looks like the developers of God of War are preparing to work on a new project..!

It seems that the game God of War: Ragnarok is very close to the completion of development on it, and this is what appeared to us from the new announcement of Santa Monica studio, which is looking to include new developers to work on a new game project that has not been revealed so far.

With a new job posting (quoted from GameRant) that the studio shared on its website, Santa Monca Studios is looking for a character designer who will be involved, according to the announcement, in working on a new, unannounced project. The developer is required to have creative aspirations in designing complex, dynamic characters that simulate the reality on the PlayStation.

This announcement may have several indications, the first of which, as we mentioned above, is that the project of the game God of War: Ragnarok is nearing completion, and part of the team may be working on it, while the remaining part is preparing to work on the new project, which also seems to us to be still in the early stages of development.

We also do not forget that the director of the previous game, Cory Barlog, did not direct the new part, as he confirmed that he is working on a separate thing. After the launch of God of War: Ragnarok early next year.

We don't know yet if the studio's next project will be a sequel to God of War or a completely new project, but recent studio hints that God of War: Ragnarok will be Kratos' last adventure in the myths of the North may indicate that the game may be shelved for a while. Time and focus on introducing something new.

Also, the other interesting thing in the announcement is that the studio did not specify the PlayStation 5, but only mentioned the PlayStation platform, which may indicate that the project may be dedicated to the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, as happened with the game God of War: Ragnarok.

In any case, whatever Santa Monica and Corey Barlog are working on, it is still in the very early stages and may not be revealed until the second half of next year.

It is reported that Bend Studio is also looking for new developers to work on a new unannounced project, so we may be facing hot ads during the next phase of Sony and PlayStation.
